Topaz denoise sale12/10/2023 Then I found the Topaz Labs photographic apps (I have all of them) and wove those into my workflow. Even though a R5 file is about 200k, the size in windows is 256 x171 pixels.Įveryone has their own workflow and if they're happy with the results, that's totally fine. Strangely Photoshop CS5 Camera raw imports them. I have had a play with Pureraw2 and Topaz and it seems that Topaz does and even better job. They are both very slow on my computer and have found problems importing Topaz into Lightroom 6 as a dng. My current system (M1 based) runs the apps very smoothly and everything processes rapidly. My previous system fell well below the minimum requirements (my fault!) and while the apps still ran they were achingly slow to update the previews and to process the files. The final thing I really ought to mention is you should check out the System Requirements. (I bought my latest license during the Black Friday sale - a good discount and I was able to apply a further affiliate discount at the checkout. If you decide not to renew the upgrade license when it expires, you can do so in the future. To answer one other query I note you asked elsewhere, the Topaz licences are perpetual and they will continue working whether you have a live upgrade license or not. The Topaz products continually leave me with a smile on my face. I'm pleased you found the examples interesting. And also bulky and heavy in a way for an older guy like me. (I covet the Z 9, but that's a bit rich for me now. I had been hoping to a Z 7 II this year, but that probably won't happen. I'm still using a (now clunky old ) Nikon D3, 12 Mpixels. A lot of my photos, not all, demand the highest possible detail.
